Slope

slope
(v. sloped, slop·ing, slopes v. intr.)
To diverge from the vertical or horizontal; incline: a roof that slopes. See Synonyms at
slant.
To move on a slant; ascend or descend: sloped down the trail

So today I learnt what slope truly mean in a hair dressing context.
I learn that if someone asks you, " You wan slope?"
There's only one answer, "NOOOOOOOO!"
You have to answer just as how you'd answer if someone asks if you'd wanna die. It's equivalent.

When the guy asked if I wanted a slope, this image popped out in my mind:

....oh....slope...yah...that's what I want.

Ahbutthen, out came the mean-machine.

The mean-machine and I go way back, I'll elaborate later.

So anyway, he showed me what a SLOPE really meant. Oh boy.

I felt so primary school. Blue shorts, buttoned white-T, white shoes and socks and a trolley Power Rangers bag is what's left to complete this oversized Pri-sch kid.

Anyways, about my nemesis, when I was a kid of about 4-7 years, going for a hair cut felt like a visit to a dentist. Actually, it wasn't exactly a hair cut I had to endure but more of a head shave. My mum said its the only way because botak head means less visits to the barber who doesn't really like serving me because I move too much when he works my hair.

I remember a particular incident where she had to bring a cane to the barber shop becauseIi didn't want to endure a head shave. A few guys behind were laughing at the situation as the barber shaved, and my mother next to me with the cane sticking out from her hand. I cried. Not because I was afraid, but because I was embarrassed.

Getting your head shaved isn't at all pleasing. Hot vibrating metal pressed on your scalp. I think I twitched a lot whenever the shaver went anywhere near my ears. I was afraid my ears would get shaved away along with my hair. Then I'd really look like....
