an Itch you can't Scratch

metaphorically speaking, I have this itch I can't scratch. The reason being the fact that itches gets itchier each time you scratch it. However, to scratch it, I'll have to be able to reach it first. Right now, I'm not quite sure if I can. But, even if I could reach it, I can't scratch it. So, I guess it doesn't really matter if I could reach it or not.

I watched "Big Fish" today. It's quite an old movie. To be exact, it was released three years ago. Ewan McGregor plays the role of the younger version of the dying father whom the son is trying to get to know.

Edward Bloom (Father): There's a time when a man needs to fight and a time when he needs to accept that his destiny's lost, the ship has sailed and that only a fool will continue. The truth is I've always been a fool.

Will Bloom (Son):
In telling the story of my father's life, it's impossible to separate fact from fiction, the man from the myth. The best I can do is to tell it the way he told me. It doesn't always make sense and most of it never happened... but that's what kind of story this is.

A man tells his stories so many times that he becomes the stories. They live on after him, and in that way he becomes immortal. -Will Bloom-
