This is a real funny video. Football bloopers.
But at the end of it, the "football" sort of shrinks to ermm...some other type of "ball".

So, girls don't load this video ok? Later go blind oh. Your eyes will start to bleed puss and explode!

Okay, you've been warned.

Rambutans & Canes Monday, August 21, 2006 |

Honestly, I can't draw a good picture to save my life. C is my usual grade for Pendidikan Seni from the very first art test I'd ever sat for.

I remember clearly, an incident in Primary 1, my teacher scolded me because I couldn't draw rambutans for her. Screamed at me as she whacked the table with her worn out cane.

It was a long time ago so I don't remember how exactly did I draw this hairy fruit, but I should think it would have looked something like this. Until today, I don't understand why she got so worked up about it. Maybe it resembled an organ of the human anatomy which she didn't have the chance to get to know. See, she was single.

However, I've also come to realize that if you really put your heart into something you really want to see done, you CAN do it! Serious.

I drew this for Lilian for her birthday. Took days and some help from Justin for the body of STITCH.

And this, my version of the Used's album cover. Also took ages. Was inspired by the emo-ness I was going through.

Moral of the story:

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson-

You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind.

-Stanley Siong-

Siapa cepat, dia dapat.

-Sang Kancil-

Orang tamak selalu rugi.

-Pak Pandir-

Ok la.. the last 2 doesn't quite fit in the context.

Slope |

slope
(v. sloped, slop·ing, slopes v. intr.)
To diverge from the vertical or horizontal; incline: a roof that slopes. See Synonyms at
slant.
To move on a slant; ascend or descend: sloped down the trail

So today I learnt what slope truly mean in a hair dressing context.
I learn that if someone asks you, " You wan slope?"
There's only one answer, "NOOOOOOOO!"
You have to answer just as how you'd answer if someone asks if you'd wanna die. It's equivalent.

When the guy asked if I wanted a slope, this image popped out in my mind:

....oh....slope...yah...that's what I want.

Ahbutthen, out came the mean-machine.

The mean-machine and I go way back, I'll elaborate later.

So anyway, he showed me what a SLOPE really meant. Oh boy.

I felt so primary school. Blue shorts, buttoned white-T, white shoes and socks and a trolley Power Rangers bag is what's left to complete this oversized Pri-sch kid.

Anyways, about my nemesis, when I was a kid of about 4-7 years, going for a hair cut felt like a visit to a dentist. Actually, it wasn't exactly a hair cut I had to endure but more of a head shave. My mum said its the only way because botak head means less visits to the barber who doesn't really like serving me because I move too much when he works my hair.

I remember a particular incident where she had to bring a cane to the barber shop becauseIi didn't want to endure a head shave. A few guys behind were laughing at the situation as the barber shaved, and my mother next to me with the cane sticking out from her hand. I cried. Not because I was afraid, but because I was embarrassed.

Getting your head shaved isn't at all pleasing. Hot vibrating metal pressed on your scalp. I think I twitched a lot whenever the shaver went anywhere near my ears. I was afraid my ears would get shaved away along with my hair. Then I'd really look like....

Let me ask you:

How many psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb?

ONE!

but the light bulb, it has to really want to change.....

V for Very-nice Friday, August 18, 2006 |

I didn't know you can fit so many V words in a self-introduction before i watch V for Vendetta.

V: This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V

The only V word I'm very familiar with is obscene. How sad...

Evey Hammond: Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what. And what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey Hammond: I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I am not questioning your powers of observation. I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

V: Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. There is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

Attack of the Bugs: Part 2652348294274012 Monday, August 07, 2006 |

FUCK!!

I need to curse. I think I have every right to.

A bloody cockroach the size of probably 2 and a half 50 sen coins got my head confused for an airplane runway. It flew (YES IT CAN FLY!) and probably needed to make an emergency landing. My bushy hair seemed to be the perfect spot for a perfect landing.

ARGhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I need to shave my head.

Self conclusion Sunday, August 06, 2006 |

Only hours away from receiving a slip that would probably determine my fate.

I might end up saying this to my programme director:

"Excuse me sir, but I have plans to die tonight and you are directly in my way."

Hellomoto? Wednesday, August 02, 2006 |

Today I found a pink moto razr v3 under one of the desks in one of the classes!

I must admit, the phone would be a perfect replacement for my current phone, also a Motorola. Dump the sim, replace the eye-sore-pink cover with a sleek silver, Oooh... I am a lucky man.

However, I didn't bag the treasure. Instead, I showed it to my lecturer. Followed by a series of events, which started with one of my classmates calling the mother to inform her that he has her daughter's missing phone. (I've got no idea what he was trying to do.) Unfortunately, that wasn't the last inane thing he did, somehow my face was set as her phone wallpaper. Dude......

Anyway, the point is, all those years of moral education didn't come to waste after all eh? All those essays which began, "Pada suatu hari, saya terjumpa sebiji dompet di tepi jalan....." and ended something like "....pemilik dompet tersebut menghargai kejujuran saya dan telah beri saya sebuah hadiah sebagai ganjaran."

Yup, so far the sequence of events have been quite accurate. Except for the ganjaran part. Still waiting for the SMS. :)
