You've got the curse of curves!
A few weeks ago a friend o'mine was being her usual emo-self and brought up a question, "Do you believe in true love?"
Well, without giving much thought, cause I was pretty confident with my answer, I replied, "No."
"But why? Just because you've not felt it doesn't mean it's non-existent."
Hrmm... She has a point. But I think, even if true love passed us by, we might not even have noticed. I mean, how would we be able to identify true love? How'd we know if the feeling we have for our spouse is in fact true love? For all you know, you'd break up after a few months and then you meet someone else, and HEY! What'd ya know, TRUE LOVE again! How true can love be when there are so many of them? Piracy sucks.
"How bout those happy couples? Shouldn't they be experiencing true love?"
I think happy couples are couples which are tolerant and of course attracted to one another. You can't have one with out the other. Some couples maybe oh-so-truly-in-love with each other but if they can't tolerate each other, PATAH ATAS lagi!
Love is just an illusion. There's only attraction for things we find attractive. The rest is just how well you tolerate.
"You are such a pessimist"
The "true love" she was referring to doesn't concern that of parent-child or inter-sibling. etc. etc.
